Privacy Policy

SOS Flash collects no data. Nothing leaves your device.

Effective date: October 21, 2026

Overview

SOS Flash turns your phone's flashlight into an emergency beacon that signals SOS in Morse code. The app is designed to work completely offline. It does not collect, store on any server, or share any personal information.

Information We Do Not Collect

SOS Flash does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Permissions

Local Storage

The app saves a single setting on your device that remembers you have dismissed the first-launch notice. It never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Internet Use

The app does not connect to the internet. The only exception is the "Privacy Policy" link on the About screen, which opens this page in your web browser.

App Stores and Device Diagnostics

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Apple and Google may collect information, such as download statistics, under their own privacy policies. If you have chosen in your device settings to share diagnostics with app developers, Apple or Google may give us anonymous crash reports. These reports do not identify you, and we use them only to fix problems in the app.

Third-Party Services

SOS Flash does not use third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.

Children's Privacy

Because the app collects no personal information, it collects none from children.

Emergency Disclaimer

SOS Flash does not replace contacting emergency services. Whenever you can, call your local emergency number.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
